Welcome to St. Anthony's Church
The Church of St Anthony of Lisbon is popularly called " The Galgibag Church" locally in Goa.
It was originally a chapel, built in 1807 and was affiliated to the Mission of Sivansor in North Kanara (Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka). Later, on April 3, 1824, it was elevated to the status of a parish church and became known as the St. Anthony of Lisbon Church in Galgibag.
