In my view this page is required and is very important. It will avoid unnecessarily call of each church member to enquire about the funeral timings etc. Also people / villagers living /working abroad will be informed through this page. We can extend this page to our surrounding villages / Churches to accommodate their obituaries, as we have relatives / families in the neighboring villages.
We can also have a florist contact on this page so that people who are unable to make it for the funeral services or people who are abroad will be able to send flowers to express their sympathy, love and respect to the deceased and the grieving family.
Need input from Parish Priest and other few members on this page.
