• The Chiplem Church was originally a Chapel built at Chiplem which was blessed on June 18, 1940. In 1967, the Chiplem Chapel was separated from the parish of Galgibaga, and elevated into a separate parish of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Chiplem, Goa.
