Miracles of Jesus
The Greatest Miracle
For Christians, the greatest miracle is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, when Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion
(Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20).
The four Gospels explicitly record about 37 miracles, although they also state that Jesus performed many more than were written down.
Purpose of the Miracles
According to the Gospels, Jesus' miracles were not merely displays of power. They served to:
Reveal God's compassion and love.
Confirm Jesus' authority and divine mission.
Strengthen faith in God.
Demonstrate the coming of God's Kingdom.
Bring healing, restoration, and hope to people.
As the Gospel of John states, these signs were recorded "that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name" (John 20:31).
